Why join?
Our phones, computeres, and digital services fill our lives. As useful as they can be, there are negative side effects. We are exposed to potentially stress inducing information, we are less likely to truly relax and be present in any given moment, and even the light emitted by our devices can disrupt our sleep and quality of restfulness.
This retreat is a digital detox. It will help us rest better, and establish better habits with devices. We'll have the option to take a complete break from devices for an entire week. We'll be on a schedule for rest at night and rising early in the morning. We'll exercise in nature, connect to the environment and elements, practice yoga and meditation, and eat fresh, healthy foods. We'll use red light therapy for it's many well researched benefits in helping body rhythms and optimal functioning with increased mitochondrial energy production in the cells which can promote many factors of health.
The combination of being deep in nature in one of the island's most untouched and peacful centers, self discipline, and just a little bit of the latest inovations.. will leave us feeling truly connected to ourselves.

I met George at my first TTC in 2013. I had a strong feeling that I had more to learn from him so decided to do my second TTC with George last year. George is an incredibly warm and gracious teacher. He is super skilled at delivering yoga philosophy and values in a way that is accessible and relevant to now. He lives what he teaches, so you get a true sense he is the real deal and doing the work – daily. His physicality, strength and execution of asana is just beautiful. He is a movement artist.

Compassion, discipline, letting go, are just a few of the things that I learned are the foundations for balance and harmony. The classes were intense yet gentle. I mastered listening to myself, knowing when to go further or when to rest. The teacher, besides being amazing and trustworthy, is professional, attentive, very well prepared; he’s the real deal. He guided us through moments of uncertainty, making us feel safe and confident of ourselves. Never there was a moment of danger nor disrespect. It was a blessing to have such an awesome and humble human being as our professor. Lots of things I learned, transformed, let go, let in, but it all comes down to one simple thing: live the present fully conscious, Now. Yoga is not only asanas, it’s a holistic lifestyle. We can do yoga anytime, anywhere. Thanks to George and the beautiful human beings that were part of this experience.
